Join us for the Supporting Heroes Honor Guard School at Trooper Island -- Monday, October 6th through Friday, October 10th.
The ceremonial and drill training will be conducted by members of the Kentucky State Police Honor Guard, covering all aspects of honor guard duties with a primary focus on the rendering of funeral honors.
Supporting Heroes personnel will present the principles and core values that guide the sacred responsibility of providing Ultimate Honor for Ultimate Sacrifice.
The week of instruction will conclude with participants applying what they have learned by conducting a full mock line-of-duty funeral, providing a meaningful capstone experience.
COST = $175 per student -- includes lodging and meals
Recognizing how tight training budgets can be, we have made every effort to keep the cost of this training to a minimum. Our hope is that those who have been unable to attend this type of training in the past due to limited budgets will be able to attend. Rest assured that no corners have been cut to provide the training at this price.
