Join us for the Supporting Heroes Honor Guard School at Trooper Island -- Monday, October 6th through Friday, October 10th.
The practical ceremonial and drill components will be instructed by members of the Kentucky State Police Honor Guard. It will cover all aspects of honor guard functions with a focus on funeral honors.
The principles and foundational values of rendering Ultimate Honor for Ultimate Sacrifice (funeral honors) will be presented by Supporting Heroes.
The week will conclude with students conducting a mock line-of-duty funeral.

NOTE: Recognizing how tight training budgets can be, we have made every effort to keep the cost for this training to a minimum. Our hope is that those who have been unable to attend this type of training in the past due to limited budgets will be able to attend. Rest assured that no corners have been cut to provide the training at this price.
LOCATION, LODGING, and MEALS
All training will be conducted on Trooper Island, which is located on Dale Hollow Lake in Burkesville, Kentucky.
All meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) will be served on Trooper Island starting with lunch on Monday and ending with lunch on Friday.
Lodging will be at Dale Hollow Lake State Resort Park. The training fee includes double-occupancy lodging for four nights. A private room, if available, would be $200 extra for the week. If Sunday night lodging is needed, it would be an extra $100 for a single or double-occupancy room.
Water transportation will be provided each day to/from the Trooper Island Boat Dock.
