Join us for the Supporting Heroes Honor Guard School at Trooper Island, Monday, October 12 through Friday, October 16.
The ceremonial and drill training will be conducted by members of the Kentucky State Police Honor Guard, covering all aspects of first responder honor guard duties, with a primary focus on rendering funeral honors. Kentucky law enforcement participants will receive 40 hours of KLEC-recognized in-service training credit.
Supporting Heroes personnel will present the principles and core values that guide the sacred responsibility of providing Ultimate Honor for Ultimate Sacrifice.
The week of instruction culminates in a powerful capstone experience, where participants apply their training during a full mock line-of-duty funeral -- honoring the fallen while demonstrating the precision, discipline, and values expected across all first responder honor guard traditions.

Recognizing how limited training budgets can be, we have made every effort to keep the cost of this program accessible. Our goal is to ensure that agencies and individuals who may not have previously had the opportunity to attend this type of training can do so, without compromising the qualify or depth of instruction.
